Cloud Mac nodes

Five physical nodes, chosen around your team’s workflow

PingMini currently offers five nodes in Singapore, Japan (Tokyo), South Korea (Seoul), Hong Kong, and the US East. All three available configurations can be ordered in each region, delivered on dedicated physical servers with no shared compute resources.

SG

Singapore: built for Southeast Asia collaboration and continuous builds

If your primary operators, test devices, or business dependencies are in Southeast Asia, Singapore is usually the first node to test. It keeps daily remote development, regional app validation, and automated builds within the same working hours.

Collaboration hours
Well suited to daytime development, reviews, and delivery for teams in Singapore and nearby regions.
Typical workloads
Xcode builds, test-device integration, regional service validation, and cross-time-zone continuous builds.
Selection criteria
Compare local connection stability first, then verify access paths to your code repository and critical APIs.
JP

Japan (Tokyo): keep local testing and release preparation in one region

The Tokyo node is suited to app testing, version acceptance, and release preparation for Japan. When a local Japanese team needs to review the project, placing the development workstation in the same working hours can reduce gaps while waiting for remote handoffs.

Collaboration hours
Covers normal Japanese business days and supports continuous handoffs among development, testing, and release teams.
Typical workloads
Localized UI checks, Xcode archiving, release asset preparation, and validation of Japan-region services.
Selection criteria
Focus on the main operator’s connection to Tokyo and how project dependencies perform in Japan.
Two East Asia nodes

Seoul and Hong Kong: for local hours and cross-border collaboration

Both nodes support East Asian development workflows, but their priorities differ: Seoul emphasizes Korean local working hours, while Hong Kong is often used to balance paths between distributed team members, repositories, and service dependencies.

KR

South Korea (Seoul)

Ideal for validating apps in South Korea, remote development by Seoul-based teams, and automated builds during East Asian daytime hours. If most members work in Korea, start by testing graphical connectivity and repository pulls on their everyday networks.

  • Working hours:Daytime development and evening task collection for Korean teams
  • Best for:Regional testing, continuous integration, and version archiving
  • Path priorities:Operator network, repository location, and test endpoint region
HK

Hong Kong

A good fit for teams distributed across regions that frequently hand off development tasks. When choosing Hong Kong, do not look only at operator distance; also verify the complete access path to repositories, artifact storage, and project dependencies.

  • Working hours:East Asia collaboration and cross-time-zone task handoffs
  • Best for:Remote coding, build artifact sync, and cross-region validation
  • Path priorities:Overall performance of repositories, dependency services, and team storage
US-E

US East: supporting North American collaboration and overnight build handoffs

The US East node serves Eastern North American teams, regional app testing, and cross-time-zone build handoffs. Asian teams can submit tasks before the end of their workday for North American teammates to review; North American teams can also handle remote development and release preparation during local daytime hours.

01

Asian team submits

Lock the code version, dependency files, and build parameters, and leave a reproducible task record.

02

Node runs the task

Run the build, tests, or regional service validation in the US East region, retaining logs and artifacts.

03

North American team takes over

Check results during local working hours, resolve failures, and complete the release.

How to choose a region

Don’t decide by map distance alone

The real development experience depends on the entire task path. Put the primary operator, code repository, external dependencies, and team hours on one checklist before choosing a node.

  1. 01

    Locate the primary operator first

Record where members who actually connect to the Cloud Mac each day are based and which networks they use. Graphical desktops depend more on stable round-trip paths, while SSH and automation prioritize connection reliability and retry behavior.

    Output: candidate nodes
  2. 02

Then check the repository and artifact storage

Confirm which services handle code pulls, dependency downloads, cache restoration, and artifact uploads. Even with a nearby operator connection, distant repository and artifact-storage paths can still affect total build time.

    Output: data path
  3. 03

    Check the project’s regional dependencies

List the locations of test endpoints, regional content, login flows, and delivery systems. For app validation targeting Japan, South Korea, or North America, prioritize testing the behavior of nodes in the corresponding regions.

    Output: validation scope
  4. 04

    Finally, schedule team handoff hours

Decide whether one regional team can complete the task continuously or whether it needs a cross-time-zone relay. Run continuous builds during low-interaction periods, while release checks should cover the responsible team members’ working hours.

    Output: handoff window
Recommended decision order Operator location → repository and dependencies → service region → team hours

After choosing a region, confirm the model, billing period, and real-time availability in the console. To verify the remote connection method first, see the connection guide; if you are unsure, submit your team location, workload, and dependency regions through the support email or a console ticket.
